Meet Our Founding Executives

Sallieu Sesay

Sallieu Sesay is a seasoned media and social science development professional with over ten years of experience in advocacy, media policy, governance, and public accountability. As Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at UBA Sierra Leone, he excels in strategic communication, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement. Sallieu has a strong background in research, marketing, report writing, website management, and partnership development, with a deep understanding of Africa’s socio-political landscape. 


He has led major campaigns such as maternal and newborn health initiatives with the MamaYe/Evidence for Action project and served as President of the Sierra Leone chapter of the Young Professional Economists Network. Recognized for his exceptional human rights journalism, he received the Best Human Rights Reporter Award in 2012. Sallieu is known for his innovative and effective communication strategies, making significant contributions to Sierra Leone’s development sector and corporate communications. He has won several awards and named among the top 100 professionals in Sierra Leone.
