James Kabia
James A. Kabia is an accomplished communications strategist with a track record of designing and implementing high-impact, data-driven strategies for leading development agencies, including the UN Capital Development Fund, UNICEF, among others. Currently Communications Specialist and Project Officer for the Freetown Blue Peace Financing Initiative Project with UN Capital Development Fund
A compelling storyteller and adept strategist, James blends creative and technical expertise to translate complex policies into clear, actionable messages that resonate with diverse audiences. His work has supported in mobilising donor funding and engaging communities across Sierra Leone.
He holds a dual MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship and Global Business, a bachelor of social science and a bachelor of laws degrees, and has over a decade of experience in strategic communications, programme design and stakeholder engagement. James brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to the profession. He is passionate about leveraging communication to drive behaviour change, strengthen institutions, and promote inclusive development.
