Alfred Fornah is a communications professional with a proven track record in public relations, advocacy, and development communications across government, the United Nations, international organisations, and youth-led initiatives, including co-founding the youth-led Society for Climate Change Communications.

He has served with institutions such as the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) as Communications Lead under the Sierra Leone Democracy Strengthening Programme, and with the United Nations Migration Agency (IOM), where he supported the communications and visibility efforts of the Sierra Leone Country Office in addressing migration challenges, realities, and opportunities.

Alfred is currently Communications Coordinator for PARTICIP GmbH, supporting the European Union’s Communications and Visibility Programme in Sierra Leone.

With nearly a decade of experience, he is passionate about leveraging strategic communication to drive impactful change and contribute to sustainable development in Sierra Leone and beyond.
